This Motel 6 is comfortable and convenient to visiting Joshua Tree National Park. The rooms are spartan, but clean, and I like being able to open the window for fresh air. Not being used to sleeping right next to a busy highway it was the only drawback to my stay (except the coffee wasn't always hot in the morning.), but there is nothing you can do about that, the Route 62, that is.

Great place to stay and exceptional service! The front desk lady—Heather, I believe—was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful and considerate throughout my visit. I watched her assist a couple ahead of me with the same kindness and attention to detail. She truly goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome. What a great first impression!
