Being within the sight of the western peaks of the Himalaya Mountains, Ranikhet is a hill station in Uttarakhand. This town is maintained by the Indian Army and is home to the Kumaon and Naga Regiment along with the Military Hospital.

The months between March to October are the best months to visit this hill station as it becomes extremely cold during the winters but experiences moderate temperature during summers.
